Your Safari Guide

What is considered the home of 'safari' and the cradle of humankind, East Africa is like nowhere else on this planet. With its diversity in cultures, wildlife and landscapes, it's hard not to fall in love with Africa and all of its beauty. In fact, this is exactly what happened to us back in 2008 when we uprooted our lives to purchase an old homestead on the edge of Nairobi National Park, drawn by the kindness of Kenyans, and the natural beauties all around us.

The national parks of Kenya & Tanzania are home to thousands of animal species and The Great Migration of millions of wildebeest from the Serengeti in Tanzania into the Masai Mara in Kenya, across the pulsing Mara River, is one of the greatest spectacles on earth.

Swahili and English are the official languages of Kenya and Tanzania, however, the many indigenous languages are still spoken widely. Throughout the countries, old cultures meld with new, and ancient traditions sit alongside modern customs in a country that truly is a thriving multi-cultural centre.
